Take that, Winter!
Hello hello! It’s time to share some exciting news! Come 2013 and we’re chock-full of new developments, collaborations and latest happenings to blog about. One amongst those was the recent invitation to guest-blog for the very vivacious MissMalini. We’ve been extremely thrilled and it gives us great pleasure to share with you our very first contribution.
Here’s the post for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
Happy 2013, everyone! Hope you had yourselves a jolly-merry-happy holiday. And now that you’re all back from your lovely little escapades, are you wishing away the winter chill, craving for a warm summer day? Well how about we resolve to embrace the dip in temperatures instead through a style-minded take on “cozy-dressing”?

Skinny basics go a long way, especially when worn together with such profoundly interesting layering techniques.
Invest in basic turtleneck sweaters from ZARA (above), available in various bright and basic hues.
Nubbly knits add a hint of texture. Go tonal and accessorize with a pop of color.
P.S. – She is certainly selling me on her killer Steve Madden booties!
Extend your Summer wardrobe to Fall. Give it a tomboy twist with your footwear.

Day-glam looks best with contrasting pieces.
The sky-high studded boots find the perfect yin to their yang in her cropped vintage jacket, don’t you find?
I think it’s now fair to conclude that a splash of color can beat the dreariest of weather.
An understated nod to the furry outerwear trend keeps you warm without the bulk.
Totally digging this faux fur trim gilet by Wrangler, available at ASOS.com.
Beat the winter blues in a sunny yellow perhaps. Love the way that bold hue plays against the rich autumnal tones.
In the moment…
Showcasing a trend, or the lack of it, these candid captures give my imagination a distinctive edge each time I look at them. Hope they inspire you just as much.
And lastly, since puffer jackets seem to be the most sought-after fall item every season, I’m thrilled to share my current favorite find with you, the peter-pan collared puffed jacket from French Connection.
Stay toasty!

Oh those are glamorous ladies! You certainly cover the best chic aspirations to take on! Love your review! And ofcourse those Steve Maddens’ boots are worth to die for; she looks amazing!
