London state of mind
It is said that you can tell a man by his shoes. So slither into shoes that will get your heart all aflutter!
Clarks, the world’s largest casual and smart shoe company recently organized an event, “Inspiring Desire”, at Cheri, Delhi in association with Cosmopolitan Magazine themed as London street fashion. And as mad-fashionists we went there gunning for happy feet!
The highly interactive event with lots of activities and a brilliant setup enthralled us. The decidedly heavy fashion presence of fame soaked Indian models, fashion bloggers etc. and an entertaining crowd took the spotlight to appreciate the new shoe code. Taking you to the streets of London for sole searching, the revelry began with the showcase of designs that were evolved according to the Indian fashion circuit. Clarks scored a style slam-dunk with its new glam collection that is comfortable and swoon-worthy while Cosmopolitan took the shine with the guilty pleasures of ‘inspiring desire’ like a red London telephone booth and a Clarks shoe station where women could come and share their footwear fetish with live feed being telecast on the screens there and a Fun Footwear Collage was a picture clicking point. What’s more? A magician who performed street tricks, live mannequins in a true British sense wearing Clarks shoes and personalized Shoe bags which were painted by a young painter who is leading this latest trend of personalized statements through paint making the event an instant hit.
Everyone from the CEO and sales head to their designer made sure to take a one-on-one product feedback of the guests.
Clarks, we’ll never look at you the same. Time to burn your old shoes! Care to step into your new Clarks?
