Surreal planes
New York based artist Erik Madigan Heck, founder of an exclusive semi-annual art journal Nomenus Quarterly, often joining forces with big fashion names like Valentino and Ann Demeulemeester, is a photographic talent devil with a charm to spare! His work is a heartrendingly beautiful finery and intoxication of backdrops with a singe of photography, fine art, mixed media and fashion. Love ‘em or love ‘em not, you know when it clicks! Even though his work has been exhibited all over US and in Europe his recent achievements are on a roll which include PDN’s selection for its annual 30 list of photographers to watch, features in WWD, American Photo and Russian Vogue, an exhibition in Ion Studio and a debut monograph.
